Wedding dress…..?
I’m getting married in July and I already bought a wedding dress… it was only and very cute… but i decided i wanted something more. I shopped around and found a dress i love. It costs alot more but i feel so pretty in it.
Do you guys think i made the right decision??

I think they are both pretty. But I must say I like the new second one better because that is more my taste and style. I think you look beautiful in it and I think you made a great decision. You should only settle for something you really truly love! Good luck and congrats!
The new one is really pretty! The most important thing is that you feel great in it!
What matters is how you feel in the dress. If you feel beautiful and like a princess in the second dress then that’s THE dress for you!
I like the 2nd one. I think it’ll make you feel more pretty and elegant. The first looks a little grecian and the sequins(I’m assuming thats what they are.) are oddly placed and draw attention away from you!
I think that both dresses are beautiful but if the second makes you feel good and prettier, then you should wear the second dress. I think you are going to look stunning on your wedding day with either dress you pick! Congrats!
Do what makes you feel good and what’s in the budget!
If you have to money to spend and you really aren’t sure anymore about the first 1 then get the 2nd one.

I actually like the first one MUCH better. You know how we look at wedding pictures of people from the 80’s and 90’s and think… god that’s ugly. I feel that way about a lot of typical wedding dresses today… I feel like the strapless gathered bodice dresses are something EVERYONE is doing.
I feel like your first dress is classic… yet very unique. You won’t look like many other brides. Why would you want to be a version of what everyone else is doing when you could be different.
Plus, your 80 dollar dress looks like it could be very expensive- something a Hollywood starlet would wear. You’re a pretty girl… do what makes you feel good.
NEVER go into debt for your wedding. It is your special day, but I know of so many sob stories about the aftermath of overspending for the wedding its not even funny.
Do whatever you like, within your budget. Its true, its one day. ONE DAY that you may end up paying for for years to come. Thats no way to begin your new life.

Those two dresses are very different. I really like the first one, but I also really like the second one for different reasons. But, if you feel that you made the right decision and you absolutely love your dress then that is the one that you should go with. I am not sure how you look in the first one, but you look beautiful in the second one! I am sure that you are going to be a very stunning bride. If you feel beautiful, don’t regret your decision…not even for a second. It will be worth every penny

I love the first much better, but if you feel more comfortable in the second one, go for it. I felt the same way. I didn’t like my dress, started looking for another one, but after I got my dress altered, I loved it. So you might want to give your old dress another try. Wait until the alterations are complete then decide.
They are both prety, but considering the cost, I’d go with the first dress … I don’t like the ’sleeveless’ dresses they have now, and think the straps on the first dress are more ‘romantic’ and with a veil you’ll look adorable … IF the woman wearing the second dress is you … and if you are as small as I think you are … you’ll be a BEAUTIFUL bride whatever dress you wear, and frankly your fiance will be looking at YOU and not at the dress … and so will everyone else who loves you.

What you could do is to wear the gown (second one) for the ceremony and through the dinner of your reception. Once you start to dance later in the night, change into your first one you bought that is more casual.
That way you get to wear both!

I like the first one. It is really pretty. But then again, the second one is pretty too. It would really depend on where you are getting married at. You don’t want a dress too long or too short.
They both are really nice dresses, but I would go with the second one if you can afford it, (don’t forget the price of alterations, accessories and a bunch of things you may not have calculated into the total.) If can afford both, I would go with other posters’ ideas and say that you can wear the first one for the reception and the second one for the ceremony. Definetly how you feel in it can help you choose which one is right for you.
I must say I prefer the second dress, it is beautiful.
Just out of curitosity how much was the second dress and where was it from?
I have seen similar ones that are reasonably priced. If that one is perticularly expensive look somewhere else for a more competeitive price. Even look for that same dress (designer and style#) on the internet and have it sent to you, generally that is heaps cheaper.

Hey girl it’s your wedding! I don’t mind either of the dresses, but if you don’t buy it, you will forever look back on it going "Oh, I wish I had bought the dress that I wanted". And if you were looking for a new one, obviously you weren’t happy with your first one anyway! Good luck. I love both of them. Choose what you want!

It’s your day! If you can afford it, why not get something you actually like?!?! You can always return the first one and if not, there are a lot of brides out there looking for a good dress!
